Obituary

Graveside services for Tommie Lawrence, 93, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Plainview Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Hartley of Lubbock officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Lawrence died Friday, April 23, 2004. Born in Hamilton on Feb. 5, 1911, she lived in the Providence area before moving into Plainview in 1949. She had been a resident of Prairie House for the past eight years. She was a homemaker, retired housekeeper and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 5399. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Pat) White of Lubbock; two granddaughters, Mrs. Dannie (Carmen) Laymon and Mrs. Johnny (Susan) Ontiveros; and 1 great-grandson, Jared Ontiveros, all of Plainview. The family will be at 2616 W. 18th in Plainview for visitation.
