Lawrence, Lendon Ray

Funeral services for Lendon Ray Lawrence, 54, of Tahoka, former Plainview resident, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Lanham and the Rev. Gloria Moore officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Calvillo Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Mr. Lawrence died Saturday, June 16, 2001.

He was born Nov. 4, 1946, in Tahoka. He attended Plainview High School and moved from Plainview to Tahoka in 1975 and farmed.

On June 11, 1965, he married Jean Standridge in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Terry Lawrence of Amarillo; a daughter, Laura Lawrence of Amarillo; two sisters, Jan Lawrence of Denver, Colo., and Wanda Doughton of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.

Two sons are deceased. Justin Lang Lawrence died July 22, 1972, and Lendon Ray Lawrence Jr., died April 15, 1993. A grandson also is deceased.
