Funeral services for Luthene Eva Landtroop, 81, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Doug Yates, pastor of Pampa First Church of the Nazarene, and the Rev. Shawn Fouts, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Landtroop died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2001, in Plainview.
She was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Hico. She grew up in the Lakeview Community where she attended school. She lived in the Providence Community for 36 years and farmed and moved to Plainview in 1983.
She had been a member of First Church of the Nazarene since 1946 and had taught children?s Sunday school for 20 years. She also had been head of the Hostess Committee for 30 years and was active in Ladies Bible Study.
On June 20, 1936, she married James Gandy Landtroop in Plainview.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Becky Yates of Pampa; one son, Rick Landtroop of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Jack McAnally of Plainview; three sisters, Cleo Russell of Benica, Calif., Emily Morris of Tulia and Pauline McBreaty of Sun Valley, Nev.; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
