Obituary

Funeral services for Antonia Landeros, 73, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Primera Iglesia Bautista with the Rev. Gilbert Cantu officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today, followed by a prayer service from 6-8 p.m. at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Landeros died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. She was born June 13, 1938, in Cactus to Julio and Consuelo Castro De La Cruz. She married Jose Raul Landeros in Laredo on Dec. 15, 1960. She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista and of the Women's Missionary Union, served as church secretary and taught children's classes. Survivors include her husband; children, Jose Landeros Jr. of Goldthwaite, Emma Ramos and her husband, Sammy, Patricia Landeros, Albert Landeros and his wife, Virginia, and Elida Rangel and her husband, Mark, all of Plainview, and Alfredo Landeros of Odessa; her siblings, Marcelina Castillo, Frances Johnson, Josefina Noyola, Consuelo Torres, Jorge De La Cruz, Carmen Castro, Raquel Estrada, Martha Castro and Jacinto Castro; 23 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
