Obituary

Graveside services for Gussie Marguerite Koeninger, 83, of Plainview will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Koeninger died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, in Lubbock. She was born to Oral (Cap) Orcutt and Vera Smith on Oct. 8, 1923, in Estelline. She married Edward Koeninger on Nov. 14, 1943, in Hall County. He died in 1993. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Terry Koeninger and wife Shirley of Maysville, Ken., and Larry Koeninger and wife Mary of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two grandchildren, Tracy Henry and Kelly Koeninger; and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Grace United Methodist Church.
