Obituary

Memorial services for Linda Knapp, 54, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in College Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive guests before and after the service in the church parlor. Mrs. Knapp died Nov. 29, 2001, in Aurora, Colo., and her cremains were buried in Parklawn Memorial Gardens beside her late husband, Frank Knapp. She was a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and taught fifth grade at Lakeside Elementary for 35 years. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church for 34 years and was involved in all activities of the church. The last 13 years, she worked with nursery children. She also was a member of Gamma Iota of Delta Kappa Gamma. Survivors include her mother, Doris Price of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Norman Price of Aurora; two sisters, Viviane Price of Aurora, Colo.; and LeighAnn Jones of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three nieces and one nephew. The family suggests memorials to College Heights Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society for Melanoma Research.
