Married April 6, 1919 in Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas to Charles Albert Kisselburg.
Opal M. Kisselburg, 96, of Seymour, Texas, died Sunday, February 18, 2001, at the Seymour Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church, Seymour, Texas, on Thursday, February 22, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. under the direction of the Archer Funeral Home of Seymour, Texas. Reverend Tony McGee, Pastor of Grace Community Church, officiated.
Graveside service will be Thursday, February 22, 2001, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center, Texas.
Mrs. Kisselburg was born August 4, 1904, in Bosque County, Texas. She and Charles Kisselburg were married April 6, 1919 in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1965. She was also preceded in death by four children: Virgil Kisselburg, Lorene Booher, Wesley Kisselburg and Faye Lamb. Mrs. Kisselburg lived in Hale Center, Texas, for many years. She moved to Seymour, Texas 1989. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by: three daughters, Margaret Shad of Roswell, New Mexico, Joyce Fields of Amarillo, Texas, Betty Shook of Seymour, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 78 great-great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-great- grandchildren.
