Obituary

Funeral services for Marilyn "Lyn" Kirchhoff, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kirchhoff died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Texas Nursing & Rehab Center in Plainview. Mrs. Kirchhoff was born May 12, 1932, in Scottsdale, Ariz., to Eugene and Betty Stotts. She graduated from Junction City High in Kansas. She married Robert Kirchhoff May 12, 1980, in Plainview. She owned and operated Kirchhoff Kostume Kloset for many years. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Diane Meyer of High Rolls, N.M., and Scott and Terri Meyer of Fallon, Nev.; one daughter, Mindy Lynn Rupp of Euless; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Caressa Kirchhoff of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and one brother, Edward J. Oakley, are deceased. The family will be at the home of Ervin Koelder, 1115 S. Broadway.
