Obituary

Memorial services for Gaile King, 71, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. King died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, in Plainview. She was born Sept. 20, 1938, in Austin to W.O. and Vivian Word. She was a homemaker and member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Bobby Kernell and Sandra and T. Coe Branch of Plainview; three sisters, Les Blanchard of Burleson, Doris Huckabee of Burkburnett and Rita Sarver of Plainview; and two grandchildren. Her first husband, Billie Satterfield, and her second husband, Lynnvel King; a son, Kirk Wayne Satterfield; a daughter, Shawna Ann Satterfield; and her parents, W.O. and Vivian Word, are deceased.
