King, Joe M., Mrs. (Doris Faye)

Funeral Services for Doris Faye King, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Drew Travis, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. King died at 4:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, in Lubbock.

She was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Spur. She moved to Plainview from Abernathy in 1957 and was an elementary school teacher at Thunderbird and Lakeside schools. She retired in 1996.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

On July 30, 1955, she married Joe M. King in Spur. He died July 21, 1994.

Survivors include one son, Harold J. King of Plainview; two daughters, Connie Walker of Tulsa, Okla., and Karen Huffaker of Tahoka; a sister, Francis Ball of Spur; and six grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to First Presbyterian Church.
