Memorial services for Jesse Ray ?Pete? Kidwell, 75, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Drew Travis, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Cremation arrangements were by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Kidwell died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Lamesa. He moved to the Plainview area in 1939 and served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He attended Texas State Technical Institute in Amarillo and had been owner-operator of Kidwell Welding since 1968.

He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks Club.

On June 2, 1946, he married Naomi Sue Casey in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jesseca Davis of San Antonio; a son, Casey Kidwell of Denton; and a granddaughter, Emily Ann Davis.

The Family suggests memorials to Meals on Wheels of to the First Presbyterian Church Youth Department.
