Graveside services for Bayard Lindsay Keys, 68, were at 3 p.m. today in Plainview Cemetery with Mary Lou Dillon, pastor of First Christian Church, and Richard Dye of Athens officiating.
Burial arrangements were by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mr. Keys died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at his residence.
He was born Jan 18, 1935 in Plainview, the son of George and Katherine ?Ted? Keys. He graduated from Plainview High School and attended New Mexico Military Institute. He served as Exalted Ruler of Plainview Elks Lodge #1175 in 1958-59. He was a florist and worked at Plainview Floral and Wholesale Floral.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Wood of Midlothian, a son, Darrin Keys of Plainview, a sister Katrina Holloway of Lubbock, five grandchildren, J.P. Wood, Katie Wood, and Kelsey Wood, all of Midlothian, Mackenzie Keys and Taylor Keys, both of Plainview; and an aunt, Virginia Keys of Plainview.
The family suggests memorials to the Children?s Medical Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, 1935 Motor Street, Dallas, Texas 75235
