Obituary

Wanda Mae Kelm, 76, of Plainview passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Boerger officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Kelm was born Jan. 30, 1934, in Littlefield, Texas, to the late Doc and Juanita Chester. She grew up in Fieldton and attended schools there. She married Melvin E. Kelm on Oct. 9, 1951, in Providence, Texas. He preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and Bible studies at her church. She also was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Paul Kelm. She is survived by two sons, Ricky L. Kelm and Jerry Dale Kelm, both of Plainview; three grandchildren, Melissa Lynette Tucker and her husband, Drew, Ashley Ann Kelm and Jerry Dale Kelm Jr. and his wife, Amy; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Aubrey Tucker and Allen Edward Kelm.
