Obituary

Roy Clifford "Pete" Kellison, 93, of Amarillo died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. John Wagoner, chaplain of Craig Methodist Retirement Community, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery in Plainview.

Mr. Kellison was born Aug. 6, 1913, in Harmon County, Okla., to George Homer Kellison and Maude Ella Shaffer Kellison.

He married Elma Lenox Knowles on Aug. 16, 1933, in Hollis, Okla. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and five brothers.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Peggy Harris of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Marilyn Lewis of Commerce; two grandsons, Mark Harris of Amarillo and Mick Harris of Dumas; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
