Obituary

Margie Estella Kelley, 86, awoke Saturday evening, Sept. 13, 2014, in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ, as Jesus welcomed her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Ronald E. Shultz officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Margie was born to parents Urben and Amzie Peterson in Winters, Texas, on March 17, 1928. She married Mitchell Kelley on March 24, 1946. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2007. Margie devoted her life to her family, serving others and serving Christ in church. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed sharing meals with those in need. She wrote Christian music and Christian poetry and was a talented artist. Margie had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in church as well as with family. She always had a loving spirit, offering a smile and kiss for everyone. She demonstrated Christ wherever she went. Margie fought the good fight and is now celebrating life with her Lord. Margie is survived by three children, Judy Enos of Cleburne, Dwayne Kelley of Little Rock, Ark., and David Kelley of West Fork, Ark.; four grandchildren, Lenelle Kelley, Misty Shultz, Lacey Henson and Park Kelley; and four great-grandchildren, Amelie Hatch, Trinity Shultz, Timothy Mitchell and Westin Carter Kelley.
