Obituary

Hettie Jo Keisling, 89, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson and Clay Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. today, Feb. 4, 2014, at the funeral home. Mrs. Keisling was born on March 31, 1924, in Knox City, Texas, to Gordon and Margaret Sweatt. She married Charles Keisling on Aug. 23, 1941. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2009. She loved the Lord and taking care of her family. Mrs. Keisling was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.. Mrs. Keisling is survived by two daughters, Karen Keisling Rushing and husband Mike of Cooper, Texas, and Charlotte Keisling Vickers of Plainview; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Keisling; one son, Randy Keisling; one grandson, Travis Rushing; two brothers, R.B. and Hollis Sweatt; and one sister, Mozelle Reddell.
