Keeton, Jearl Ray

PLAINVIEW (Special) - Services for Jearl Keeton, 55, of Hedley will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Keith Riley, pastor of the Pentecostals of Childress, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park.

Keeton died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997, near Hedley.

He was born Aug. 10, 1942, in Tulia. He married Glinda Wojcik on Feb. 5, 1980, in Levelland. He graduated from Plainview High School. He moved to San Angelo in 1980. He moved to Lubbock in 1990, where he attended Rice Technological School. He moved to Hedley from Claude in 1997.

He managed a store for Tucker Drilling in San Angelo. He worked in the oil fields in Odessa and Spearman. He owned a metal arts business, Steel Shadows, in Hedley.
A son, Kelly Leo, died in 1993.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jennifer Nollner of Spearman and Melissa McLain of Dallas; a stepson, Joseph Jones of Hobbs, N.M.; three brothers, Dale of Midland, Kenneth Ray of Marion, Ark., and Curtis of Sidney, Ohio; two sisters, Jerline Foling of Riverside, Calif., and Oveta Fay O'Dell of Lovington, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
