Mearle 'Tuffy' Keen Mearle "Tuffy" Keen, 75, of Plainview passed away on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, in Plainview. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Ty Williams officiating. It was Mearle's decision to donate his body to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Tuffy was born on Sept. 30, 1938, in Anton, Texas, to William Roy and Gracie Lee Keen. He was a concrete contractor for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Beatrice Wood; six brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his son Harold Dean Keen of Plainview; four grandchildren, Michael Shane Keen, Brian Lee Keen, Misty Dawn Keen, Christopher Lee Keen; two great-grandchildren; and special friends, William and Christie Baldwin of Plainview.
