Obituary

Mary Louise Reed Keen, 77, of Plainview passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Robert Malcolm officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at the funeral home. Mrs. Keen was born on Aug. 14, 1936, in Petersburg to Calvin Floyd and Ollie Ellen Reed. She married Doyce Keen on Sept. 3, 1954. Mrs. Keen is survived by three daughters, Sherry Leatherwood, Sharrion Sims and Tammye Raymer, all of Plainview; three brothers, Floyd Reed of Onalaska, Texas, Jimmy Reed of Goodyear, Ariz., and Larry Reed of Burleson, Texas; one sister, Oleta Pierce of Gun Barrel, Texas; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Ollie Reed; her husband, Doyce Keen; one grandson, Jacob Leatherwood, and one sister, Ruby Catlett.
