Jordan, Clarence Ray

ABERNATHY ? Graveside services for Clarence Ray Jordan, 96, of Farwel, were at 3 p.m. Saturday in Abernathy Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Parmer officiating.

Burial was by Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Mr. Jordan died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001.

He was born April 7, 1905 in Ennis and married Amy May Gregory. She dies Jan 18. 1972. He was a longtime Abernathy area resident and was one of the first Abernathy Volunteer firefighters.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth Jordan of Fort Worth; Six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
