Jones, Ronnie G.

Funeral services for Ronnie G. Jones, 50, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Shawn Fouts, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones died at 5:23 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2001, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.

He was born June 21, 1950 in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. He drove school buses until he lost his eyesight. In his earlier years, he loved to roller skate and taught many young people how to skate. He had belonged to several bowling leagues, including North Star Mixed Couples League, All Men?s League and the Sunday Travel League.

Surviving are his mother, Leola Panter Jones of Plainview; a brother, Charlie Woodrow Jones Jr. of Plainview and a nephew, Raymond Daxx Jones of Plainview.

The family suggests memorials to First Church of the Nazarene, 2610 W. 20th, Plainview, TX 79072.
