Obituary

Graveside services for Neta Kay Jones, 60, of Midland, Texas, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas.

Ms. Jones died Wednesday, March 2, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. She was born Dec. 1, 1950, in Memphis, Texas, to Ward and Annie "Peggy" Jones. They moved to Abernathy in 1952. She graduated with degrees from the University of Texas and Texas Tech University. Her education classification was N. Kay Jones, M. Ed., LPC, NCC. She was employed by Inspirations Outpatient Counseling Center of Midland, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Don and Glenn Jones.

She is survived by sisters, Mary Jo Hawkins of Lubbock, Texas, and Jackie Tatum of Mansfield, Texas, and many nephews and nieces.
