Obituary

Ora Lee Jones, 95, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Jack Dyer and Glenn Harlin officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Bronte to Alexander E. and Lelan Mae Long Rodgers. She married Earl Jasper Jones on Sept. 25, 1932, in Hobbs, N.M. He passed away Sept. 26, 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Dyer and husband, Paul, of Weatherford and Norma King and husband, Otis, of Spring Lake; one brother, A.V. Rodgers and wife, Donella, of Eunice, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two daughter-in-laws, Linda Jones of Granbury and Claudean Jones of Midland. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel
