Jones, David Lee. Mrs. (Thelma)

Lubbock ? Funeral Services for Thelma Jones, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Faith Temple Church with the Rev. Ricky Oliphant officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Resthaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in Lubbock.

She was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Hale County. She worked for Carl Williams Surveyor for 5 years retiring in 1981.

She moved to Lubbock in 1990 from Plainview.

She was a charter member of Southside Assembly of God in Plainview and a member of Faith Temple Church in Lubbock.

On April 14, 1990, she married David Lee Jones in Plainview.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons- in-law, Nelouise and Rick Canup and Earline and Dwight Thompson, all of Lubbock; a stepson, David Lynn Jones of Levelland; a stepdaughter, Phyllis ?P.J.? Jones of Lubbock; two sisters, Sylvia Gillilan of Rockwall and Leola Collins of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Raymond Seal and O.M. ?Sonny? Seal Jr., are deceased.
