Johnson, Wyndle

Funeral services for Wyndle Johnson, 74 will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Johnson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson died at 12:11 p.m. Monday, March 1, 1999 in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Leonard where he grew up and attended schools. He moved to Plainview
In 1942 and worked on a farm in the Providence Community. He also worked for the City of Plainview,
Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia and Plainview Cemetery. He retired in 1994.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

On Feb. 14, 1996, he married Vera Mae Keller in Plainview. She died Feb. 28, 1999.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Sylvia Ivey of Comptonville, Calif.; two stepsons, Preston ??Larry?
Yelton of Hot Springs, Ark., and Jack Yelton of Post Falls, Idaho; and one sister, Alma Bailey of Plainview;
11 step grandchildren; five step great- grandchildren one step great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
