PLAINVIEW - Joyce Ann Johnson, 59, died Sunday, May 10, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bob Nichols, pastor of Calvary Cathedral of Fort Worth, and Keith Johnson of Christian Centre in Canada officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Decatur and raised in Fort Worth, where she attended schools.
She married Kenneth Johnson in 1954 at Gainesville. They moved to Spearman in 1969 and pastored churches there. They also pastored in Laverne, Okla., and Lawton, Okla.
In 1978, Mrs. Johnson moved to Plainview, where she led prayer groups and hosted "Words of Wisdom" on KKYN radio.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Terri Atkinson, Deborah L. Farley and Freddie Jean Bothwell, all of Plainview; a son, Leslie Scott Johnson of Fort Worth; a brother, Andrew Jackson Scroggins of Plano; stepfather, Harold C. Baxter of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
