Obituary

Margaret Ann Johnson went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 7, 2007. A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Church of Christ, 2000 N. I-27, Plainview, where she was a longtime member. Dee Teel will officiate. Margaret Johnson was born to Ed and Ella Thomason on Jan. 8, 1936, in Plainview, Texas. She and Don Ray Johnson were married on March 16, 1962. She graduated from Plainview High and worked at Plainview Hospital and Pioneer Hybrid before going to work for Morgan-Eaves, where she was currently employed. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; her son, Michael Johnson and wife Marsha of Amarillo; her brother, Marvin Thomason and wife Linnie of North Richland Hills, Texas; her sister, Doris Caylor and husband Dan of Waco; her brother-in-law, Eugene Johnson of Plainview; her sister-in-law, Wanda Johnson of Plainview, who was Margaret's loving caregiver for a very long time; four nieces, Sharon Gillespie of Waco, Dana Dickerson of Lone Oak, Donita Cato of Vernon and Suzanne Johnson of Plainview; two nephews, Rick Thomason of Hurst and Scott Thomason of North Richland Hills; 13 great-nieces and nephews; 13 great-great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, love, food, time and help. Special thanks go to the wonderful people at Morgan-Eaves. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
