Jimenez, Jennifer Dawn

Funeral services for Jennifer Dawn Jimenez, 23, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Church of the Valley with the Rev. Royce Jimenez and the Rev. Ronnie Saldana officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Miss Jimenez died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, in University Medical Center Lubbock.

She was born May 10, 1978, in Plainview. She had lived in Hale Center all of her life and was a member of Church of the Valley.

Survivors include her father, Simon Jimenez of Cotton Center; her mother, Diana Saldana of Hale Center; two sisters, Leslie Dee Huffman of Edwards, Calif., and Bridgette Denice Jimenez of Hale Center; her grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Eliseo Saldana of Hale Center; a nephew, Matthew Barela of Hale Center; and a niece, Maddalyn Espino of California.

A sister, Christina Diane Barela, died in January of 2000. Her grandparents, Frank and Sarah Jimenez, also are deceased,.

The body will be at the Church of the Valley today for viewing.
