Obituary

Graveside services for Eva Blanch Jenkins, 89, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Leroy Henson, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial arrangements are by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Ms. Jenkins died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born Dec. 31, 1911, in Alabama. She was a homemaker. Her husband, J.B. Jenkins, is deceased. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jessie and Debra Lambright of Plainview; a sister, Lola Dudley of Crosbyton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Coleman Askew and Terrell Askew, are deceased. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. today.
