Janney, Hermon Davis, Mrs. (Ruby Milstead)

Funeral services for Ruby. M. Janney, 90, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dean McNamara, interim minister of First Christian Church and chaplain of VistaCare Family Hospice, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Janney died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 28, 1908, in Hardeman, Colo. She moved to Plainview in 1931 and was an administrative secretary for Plainview ISD for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church.

She married H.D. Janney on Dec. 24, 1935, in Wichita Falls. He was part owner of John Deere Agency for many years. He died July 21, 1984.

Survivors include one nephew, Paul Michelet of Lubbock.
