Obituary

Funeral services for David Ray Jameson, 52, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Jameson died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at his residence. He was born Nov. 11, 1956, in Amarillo to Robert Ray and Will Allen "Billie" Jameson. He lived in Plainview since 1971, coming from McAlester. He was self-employed as a professional piano tuner, restorer and technician. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Robert Ray and Will Allen "Billie" Jameson of Plainview; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Alan "Bob" and Heather Mary Jameson of Yancyville N.C.; and one aunt, Nora Jean Stodghill Walker of Dallas.
