Obituary
Amy Lynn Biles James, 29, of Fort Campbell, Ky., passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Colonial Baptist Church in Plainview. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Sept. 27, 1979, in Lubbock, Texas, to Robert Wesley and Marion Biles. She married Japheth Daniel James on April 17, 1999, in Plainview. Mrs. James graduated from Plainview High School in 1997. She attended United Education Institute in California and was employed as a pharmacy technician. Survivors include her husband, Japheth James of Fort Campbell, Ky.; two daughters, Cortney James and Kaisyn James, both of Fort Campbell; her parents, Robert and Sharon Biles of Plainview; grandparents, Billy and Pearl Hunt of Denver City and Ed and Ruby Biles of Sunset; two stepbrothers, Cy Jackson and wife, Becky, of Plainview and Ty Jackson and wife, Alecia, of Rowlett; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Ann James of Plainview; brother-in-law, Ross James of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Stephanie James of Plainview; and niece, Jordan Jackson of Plainview. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Hooten Biles; brother, Robert Wayne Biles; and grandfather, Kenneth Marion Hooten.
