Obituary

PLAINVIEW - Jimmie J. Jacobs, 50, a resident of Mena, Ark., died Tuesday, March 11, 1997.Services were held Friday at the Hatfield Assembly of God Church in Hatfield, Ark., with the Rev. Tony Busby officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Plainview Cemetery with Larry Richards of Palisades Baptist Church of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Jacobs was born in Pampa. He was an investigator with the Mena Police Department. He was a member of Hatfield Assembly of God Church, Hatfield, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Cindy, of Mena; two daughters, Quanah Jo Golden and Elena Ann Jacobs both of Mena; a son, Jimmie Jacobs, II of Lonsdale, Ark.; a sister, Cynthia Jo Jacobs of Mena; and three grandchildren.
