Obituary

Graveside services for George Wyman Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, in Hale Center Cemetery. Wyman was born Dec. 24, 1949, to George and Drucilla Jackson in Littlefield. He died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at home in Hale Center. Wyman graduated from Roosevelt Schools and Lubbock Christian College. He loved reading, football, baseball and friends. Wyman is survived by brothers, David Jackson of Austin; Mark Jackson and his wife, Sharon, of Acuff, Texas; a sister, Joyce Cox of Hale Center; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Steve and Randy. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to "an angel among us," Angela Baker, an LVN with Area Home Care, for her outstanding and selfless care for Wyman.
