Obituary

Services for Frank Jackson, 81, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. today at Tull Thornton Jr. Chapel of Brock's South Plains Funeral Directors with Dennis Bell officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Brock's South Plains Funeral Directors of Lubbock.

He died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001.

He was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Ledbetter. He grew up and attended school in Rockdale. He later moved to Lubbock and was employed as a chef at Texas Tech.

Survivors include five daughters, Frankie Giddens of Idabell, Okla., Barbara Rafe and Gwendolyn Baker, both of Lubbock, Michele West of Torrance, Calif., and Yolanda Blake of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Henry of Lubbock; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
