Hyder, Clyde, Mrs. (Lorene Shelton)

Funeral services for Lorene Shelton Hyder, 89,will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. K.M. McCarthick officiating.

Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hyder died Sunday, June 24, 2001.

She was born June 25, 1911, in Limestone County. She was a homemaker.

On March 10, 1931, she married Clyde Hyder. He died in March of 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Norvene Owen of Plainview, Rita Glasscock of Odessa; two sons, Garth Hyder of Foster, Ore., and Mel Hyder of Jenks, Okla.; a son-in-law, Tommy Glasscock and daughter-in-law, Linda Hyder; two brothers, Clifton Shelton of Artesia, N.M., and Joe Shelton of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice House Foundation, 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, TX 79761.
