Funeral services for Gladys Catherine Huntsman, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Rowland, pastor, and Silas Short, minister of Throckmorton Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.
Mrs. Huntsman died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Lake Point Medical Center in Rowlett.
She was born March 12, 1920, in Haskell, the daughter of Theodore and Gladys Pace. She married Loyd Huntsman on Dec. 23, 1939 in Abilene. They moved to Hale Center in 1949. He died Nov. 7, 1974. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Daughters of the Republic of Texas and was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Carrol Holley of Wylie; a brother, Ted Pace Jr. of Frankston, our grandchildren and spouses, Stacy and Ron McQueen of Copeville and Chip and Valerie Holley, Diana Morrow and Michelle Simmons, all of Wylie, and seven great-grandchildren.
