Obituary

Services for Dorothy Bogart Hudson, 81, of Cotton Center will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Cotton Center First Baptist Church with J.D. Templeton officiating. Burial will be in the Center Plains Cemetery in Cotton Center at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. She passed away May 11, 2009. She was a member of the Trinity Church in Lubbock.

Dorothy was born on March 18, 1928 in Burkburnett. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallice Bogart and Bessie Purdy; step-mother, Ruth Bogart; husband, J.G. "Hutt" Hudson; daughter, Angela Hudson Harrell; sisters, Evelyn Wallace, Sylvia Price, and Pat Livingston. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Hudson of Cotton Center, Cynthia Schneider of Midland, Stephanie Hudson of Lubbock; two son-in-laws, Ken Harrell and Don Schneider; five grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Rebekah, Shannon, and Lynnlee; and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Logan, and Ashlyn. She is also survived by four nephews and three nieces.
