Obituary

Albert Earl Hudgens, 85, of Olton, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, in Plainview. Cremation service arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Albert was born on May 6, 1927, in Runningwater, Texas, to Jim and Viola (Moore) Hudgens. He married Evelyn Daffron on Feb. 25, 1946. Albert worked hard as a farmer his entire life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Evelyn Hudgens, of the home; daughter, Kay Anderson, of Olton; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Velma Curry of Olton, and Mattie Shugart of Canyon; and sister-in-law Ruth Holley of Olton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Butch Hudgens; one brother and one sister.
