Funeral services for John P. Huddleston, 19, of Vancouver, Wash., former Plainview resident, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Johnson, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Huddleston died at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, in Vancouver. He was born May 2, 1982, in Lockney. He grew up in Plainview and attended Plainview schools. He moved to Vancouver in 1999 and graduated from Fort Vancouver High School with the class of 2000. He worked as a security guard for Metro Watch. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Vancouver. Survivors include his mother, Jacquelyn Cornett of Vancouver; his father, Jim Huddleston of Plainview; a brother, Jimmy Huddleston of Lubbock; two sisters, Tabetha Gimbel and Amanda Huddleston, both of Vancouver; his grandparents, Minnie and Lee Wright of Nacogdoches; and several aunts and uncles.
