Obituary

Heath Dalton Houchin, 18, of Levelland passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Hale Center with Rev. Carrol Green officiating. Burial will follow at his family farm. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at the funeral home. Heath was born June 22, 1993, in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in Plainview where he attended school. He loved farming, hunting, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Hap Houchin of Plain?view, Texas, and Mendy Houchin of Levelland, Texas; one sister, Whitney Rae Houchin of Levelland, Texas; grandparents, Dan Houchin of Plainview, Texas, Nancy Houchin of Plainview, Texas, Wendell Isbell of Ulysses, Kan., and Joan Isbell of Kansas City, Mo.; great-grandparents, Jim Bob and Jo Curry of Hale Center, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
