Houchin, Hap
Hap Houchin, 40, of Plainview passed away on March 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, in the Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with family and friends officiating. Burial will follow in the Houchin Family Cemetery located in the Happy Union Community south of Plainview under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Hap was born on March 28, 1973, in Hale Center to Dan and Nancy Houchin. Hap grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1991. He was a farmer. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his dogs. He also loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Hap is survived by his daughter, Whitney Houchin of Levelland; father, Dan Houchin and Brenda of Plainview; mother, Nancy Houchin of Plainview; brother, Dustin Houchin of Newport News, Va.; sister, Dawn Dee Mason of Plainview; and one grandson, Shane Taylor of Burnett, Texas.
