Obituary

ABERNATHY - Funeral services for Cleo Hood Jr., 46, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Church of the Nazarene in Abernathy with the Rev. Arlen Ankle, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home. Mr. Hood died Thursday, April 3, 2002, in Lubbock. He was born May 17, 1955 in Abernathy. He moved to Lubbock from Abernathy in1998. He and his wife, Donna Morton, have been together since 1984. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kevin Hood and DeShawn Jones, both of Lubbock, and Jamie Blackwell of Dallas; a daughter, Tricia Ann Hood of Lubbock; his mother, Josie Hood of Abernathy; three brothers, Randy Hood, Michael Hood and Ricky Hood, all of Abernathy, three sisters, Freda Norris and Virginia Hood, both of Abernathy, and Alma Wilson of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
