Obituary

Betty Jo Holt, 81, of Plainview passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014. She was born Betty Jo May on Jan. 2, 1933, in Bonham, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Lee Franks, David Lynn Franks and wife Glenda, Clifford George Holt Jr., and Walter Lynn Holt and wife Mary, all of Plainview; her daughters Betty Sue Reed and husband Kerry of Floydada, and Bertha May Sistrunk of Plainview; five grandchildren, Jason Reed of Floydada, Alan Sistrunk of Plainview, Robert Sistrunk and wife Adrianne of Lamesa, Donald Franks of Plainview and David Franks of Lubbock; and five great-grandchildren, Blayke, Kaiyden and Logan Sistrunk of Plainview, Jacquelynn and Brittain Sistrunk of Lamesa. She was preceded in death by her first husband A.B. Franks and her second husband Clifford G. Holt Sr.; her son Jesse Wesley Holt; her granddaughter Barbara Ann Franks; and her great-granddaughter Kaiyda Cheyenne Sistrunk. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at College Heights Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Jason Smith. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation provided by Heritage Cremation Providers of Amarillo.
