Obituary

Graveside services for James (Jack) Holleman, 72, of Abernathy will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Strip Cemetery, east of Abernathy, with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Burial will be in Strip Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home of Post.

He died Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Lubbock. He was born March 20, 1936 in Lakeview to William and Ila Mae Holleman. He lived in Post for 18 years before retiring to Abernathy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Wayne Holleman.

Survivors include one son, Jackie Allen and wife Stephanie Holleman of Abernathy; one daughter, Debra and husband Don Barcheers of Abernathy; one Sister, Vella Mae Brewer of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren, Megan Holleman of Humble, Ashley and Josh Cochran of Abernathy.
