Aged Resident of Plainview Passed Away Last Sunday
O. Holland, 78, died at 5 o-clock Sunday morning at his home at 713 West Eighth Street, following a long illness.
Mr. holland had been stricken with paralysis several years ago which left him without control of his speech. He had been rapidly sinking for the past few days.
The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, with Rev. J. Pat Horton officiating. Interment followed in the Plainview cemetery under the direction of Garner Brothers.
Pall bearers were: J.L. Dorsett, J.P. Siler, H.W. Harrell, O.K. Shelton and Rev. G.I. Britain.
Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughers.
