Obituary

Funeral services for Randy Hodges, 57, formally of Plainview will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Hodges died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at his residence. He was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Paducah to Randall and Wanda Hodges. He moved to Plainview in 1954 and graduated from Plainview High School in 1967 and attended Texas Tech University. He married Barbara Jeanne Kunz on April, 4, 1969, in Plainview. He farmed in Plainview until 1996 when he moved to Houston. He was employed by Agri-Empressa, Inc., as vice president of operations Houston Division. He is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Sheryl Hodges of Keller and Mark and Kim Hodges of Round Rock; his mother Wanda Hodges of Plainview; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Alton Painter of Plainview; and five grandchildren. His father and brother, Terry Hodges, are deceased. The family suggest memorials to the American Heart Association, 1700 Rutherford Lane, Austin, TX 78754.
