Obituary

David M. Hipolito, 96, of Plainview passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the funeral home.
David was born March 21, 1916, to Francisco and Paulina Hipolito in Ahualuleo, Mexico. He married Juanita Aguilar on Sept. 13, 1942, in Del Valley, Texas. She preceded him in death. He was a barber and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one son, Jesse A. Hipolito; and a grandson, Jason Gatica.
He is survived by two daughters, Florinda Gatica and husband George and Linda Quezada; two sons, David A. Hipolito Jr. and wife Irene and Felix A. Hipolito and wife Mary, all of Plainview; two brothers, Juan M. Hipolito of Las Vegas, Nev., and Felix M. Hipolito of Hale Center; 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
