Hinrichs, Rolland Cecil (Rod)

Graveside services for Rolland Cecil ?Rod? Hinrichs, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Don Noble, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

He was born Dec.11, 1920, in Illinois. He moved to Oklahoma in 1948 and to Plainview in 1955 from Amarillo.
He was a salesman and owned and operated Rod?s Vac.

He served with the U.S. Army during World War ll and was a Baptist.

On July 25, 1942, he married Elizabeth Irene ?Betty? King in Palmyra, Mo. She died Feb. 8, 1978.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Jason Lewis of Carrollton; and two sisters, Mary Starr of Washington and Carol Edwards of Springfield, Ill.

A brother, Edwin Hinrichs, is deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Boys Ranch.
