Obituary

Onofre Sanchez Hinojosa, 70, of Plainview went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Monsignor Ben Kasteel officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Christian service will be held at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 2, 2013, at the funeral home. Onofre was born April 26, 1943, to Eliseo and Estanislada Hinojosa in Harlingen, Texas. He married Sandra Casas on March 27, 1981, in Lubbock. He owned and operated Frisco Bakery. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Casas Hinojosa of Plainview; three daughters, Maria Isabel Hinojosa of Huron, S.D.; Sandra Adams and husband Sam of Plainview; Monica Hinojosa and Daniel Rodriguez of Plainview; one son, Onofre Hinojosa, Jr. and wife Debra of Midland; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
